I travel for a living. I spend approximately 200 nights a year in a hotel.
Lately it does seem like I am close by, but then I move around a lot.
Funny you should ask about 9/11. On the Sunday evening prior to the Tuesday morning of 9/11, I took a crew to dinner at Windows On The World on the top of tower one. My credit card was never charged for dinner that night. I suspect that one of the many pieces of paper that came fluttering down that morning was my unbanked charge receipt.
Two of the flight attendants at dinner that night never flew again.
My mom thinks I need to write a book someday.
