Yeah, young, and even if she's got good judgement for a college age kid, that doesn't mean that it's great compared to an older adult. Plus having guns around and potentially available to other college kids if they go snooping is a concern, especially when drinking is involved (which is when everyone's judgement is impaired). Then there's the aspect of having the gun stolen. Someone has already tried to rob her place. Do we really want a thief getting her gun?

She may be the kind of kid that would be uber responsible and never have any issues. But if there's one small lapse of judgement on anyone's part (that she may not even be around for), the results could be catastrophic.
