Normally SS is cut in large sheets after it's seemed and then afixed with 100% silicone, in my case I didn't feel like seeming my cut offs into one solid wall end, plus I can't move it alone so I tiled them to a lft size that matched the subway stuff.. I readily accept my layout isn't on the mark but I'm happy with it as it's the first tile job in 20+years after quitting setting, roofing and general contracting. I'm remembering why I quit.
