1974 911 Tilt Steering Wheel
I'm knee deep into a major restoration of a car I've never driven...(not unusual for me)
I don't think I even sat in the driver's seat of a 911 recently and wonder if I should consider a tilt steering wheel, which I've done in other restorations. A tilt mechanism made a big difference in an Austin Healey and TR6. I'm thinking it might make a big difference in a 911.
Is there a tilt mechanism available that anyone know about? Am I over-thinking this and a standard steering wheel height is fine?
Appreciate and suggestions and opinions.
