No experience on the jack pad adapters.
At least you can get your wheels off, on my 997 I do not have anything to apply the required torque.

Hmm, fancy porsche stuff $40/ea, or hockey puck $13/for 4. LOL

If money was no object, I've seen one of these in person, and they are the best floor jack I've ever seen. They seem to be very well engineered. Pelican has them for $628 (I think the price has come down a bit).

Yes, those are the pads that I'm talking about. The Rennline are $40 each through PP, so that's a nice score that your car came with 4.

Yep. Years ago, there was a guy near Austin, TX that had a bunch of Porsches, and was selling spare parts. I was going to go get a spare and jack from him. I think he was going to charge $150. I never took the time to make the drive. I wish I had.
Porsche spare/jack kit for 987 for $1700 at a fairly well known FL based Porsche dealer that has good prices on parts online. I don't see the kit as available on PP.

I carry a plug kit, compressor and tire slime. So far I have never needed to use any of it after 41 states and Canada in my 911.

Yep, I've carried a plug kit for many years and have plugged a slew of tires. Over the years I've only ever had 1 plug that was an issue (super slow leak). My old '88 911 had a spare, jack, etc... The boxster has a compressor and Porsche style fix-a-flat stuff. But no jack or spare. Unfortunately, when the sidewall is cut, the plug kit is not helpful.

) is hard to argue with.
