This morning my wiife and I loaded up in the 911 for a road trip in preparation for Parade. Just drive west in I-40 until we get past all the city areas that have stop lights everywhere. The off the the Fort El Reno historical site. The Chisholm trail stopped there to rest up, and water the herd. The fort predates the State of Oklahoma by 50 or 60 years.
Then off west on old Rt-66. Some of it is rather bumpy, but we got to Lucille's historic site.
Then a few miles ddown Rt-66 in the Lucille's restaurant. They have one room that can hold all of all tour, and it is decorated as old Rt-66. We can have it as a private area.
Then on about a mile to the Stafford Air and Space museum. They just got a F-117A they will display indoors. They have a A-10 Warthog outside on static display.
It is a wonderful museum, and with groups we can get a discount, and a guided tour.
It should be an popular tour.
