Wow, lots of horror stories befitting of the term "watch this, hold my beer". I have yet to lose it sideways in a turn or otherwise. The only time I was unpleasantly surprised was when checking out one of my favorite roads that had just opened up following a complete rebuild. Been on that road a zillion times and knew it blindfolded. The barriers had been removed...meaning it was now open...so I went for it; nothing like a brand new road. So yeah, I hooked 'em up as is proper. I was tooling along at a respectable <100 mph for 3 or 4 miles until cresting a slight rise to find the barriers still in place. Just enough time to slam on the brakes and jig slightly onto the shoulder around the barriers. Close call. I think I still have a YouTube video of it.
