Deepfake... makes it so that anything is deniable now. If what we have access to is good and scary, imagine what government agencies can do? Not such a bad thing: " wasn't me" is a viable defense now.
In a similar vein, ID theft is so prevalent it's unlikely a bank could ever hold you responsible anymore. My data has been stolen from all my employers, all my doctors, dentists, places I shop etc..
