A regular stainless master lock is cut before you have time to settle into it. Like… 1/2 second?
I have a new york fahgetaboutit chain- the thick one. The links are hardened and 10+mm. I cut one for laughs and it took 20 minutes to make a pair of cuts, but i was precious about not damaging anything else. I bet if my life depended on it i could cut the chain in 10 minutes.
So thats my allowance, travelling with bikes ive got max of 10 minutes going to store. Overnight in moab?? No way. Theres nothing you can do, keep them in your posession at all times. Competent thieves in moab.
