I was worried about whether or not she would balk at my getting a larger TV, but I think the coming in under budget got me thru that one unscathed.
I thought about a monitor too, thinking when it's done being a TV it'd be nice to use as a monitor for my computer. I asked my son about going that route (he's my default go-to-guy for electronic stuff now) and he convinced me to KISS [keep it stupid simple] by going the ROKU TV route. I'm glad I followed his advice as it's working out very nicely with only one cord going to it for the power. The speakers leave a little to be desired but that's just my ears.
