I had over 325k miles on my first BMW E36 325i when I sold it. Engine was never opened up and the last couple years I daily drove it, I was way over 10k between oil changes and used cheap dyno oil in it the entire time I owned it.
I have an E46 300i with around 240k on the clock.... Always serviced with Walmart synthetic.
