If I remember correctly excess fuel vapor goes from the fuel tank to the expansion tank in the left front fender then through the small hose in the tunnel to the charcoal canister in the right rear quarter where it is stored. On engine startup the vapor is sucked into the intake manifold or air filter box to be burned.
