I had no idea either until a few months ago when my granddaughter "discovered " the vast catalog of Swift's music. The device my granddaughter will get for Christmas will have earbuds. Not that I don't like the music, just not all the time.
I have almost 300 songs in my repertoire. None of them are by Taylor Swift.
