Interesting thread. At first, I didn't get exactly what you were saying, but then I did. I see/hear beauty (art, real life [flowers, sunsets, etc...], music, etc...). My brain often sees or hears something and interprets it as beauty. But then my brain is wired, I think, like an engineer. So seeing/hearing beauty (in life or in my head) and then translating those things to representations (art) is difficult for the reasons stated. I've had some art classes, and as a kid did a lot of drawing. Maybe I'd have been better with more practice. I occasionally get it somewhat right. Art is a lot of work. I find these days that I'd rather enjoy beauty than try to capture it myself.
