Well, great cat news on the BVD Motorsports front. I didn’t say anything, but not long after I posted that picture of Simon, he disappeared, and since he was not feeling well, I feared the worst. Months later, a cat resembling Simon was spied peeking around the corner of the house.

I called his name and he ran as soon he heard it. Remember, Simon was never around men,
Then, he stopped running and started talking.

Then he would slowly let me closer.
And he was letting me get closer. And then, if I was in the backyard, instead of running to the sago, he was talking, but I still had to keep my distance. Then yesterday, he, taking up a storm, he actually let me close enough to pet him, and then I picked him up, he screamed, but didn’t fight, and I carried him inside the house and put him down. Well, did take long for him to go back to his old spot under the couch.
I put some treats there for him ( he had been eating them outside) and didn’t move, growl as I pushed them closer to him, he actually seemed very relaxed.
Then I checked under the couch this morning, treats were gone and so was he. I had the other doors closed other than the bedroom with the cat door to the back porch where I have the litter box and food. I checked out there, but then he ran by, and into his other favorite place, the fireplace (I live in Florida, doesn’t get used much ) where he has been curled up all day. And he knows that I know where he is, but he is winking and curled up.

And Mr Grumps is back in my lap from time to time.

And Stella is still on me as much as she can.

So, other than my Mother’s fractured ribs and collapsed vertebrae (surgery Dec 6th) the cats are great again.
