Being 66 years old I have had turkey done many ways . To be honest deep fried in peanut oil hands down the best . The process is quick and the entire bird is moist . Done outside it frees up the kitchen for the " fixens "  . Sadly my turkey frier took a dump I need to replace the regulator . So this year broiled . It will still be good .
