1983 Porsche 956 is a legendary race car designed for endurance racing, primarily built for the FIA Group C category. Powered by a turbocharged 2.65-liter V6 engine, the 956 produced around 620 horsepower, making it one of the most dominant race cars of its era. Its lightweight chassis, coupled with advanced aerodynamics and a ground-breaking suspension system, allowed the 956 to achieve exceptional speed and stability. The car secured numerous wins, including at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans, cementing its place in motorsport history as one of Porsche's most successful racing machines.
