So, I was surprised to get a call from Mr Rooter this morning, asking if I could issue another check .
My moms sewer pipe backed up last week. I have a pretty large power snake , and was able to power throught it last weekend, but my bit came up with a bunch of mud and clay on it. I was assuming the old terra cotta pipes have finally collapsed .
3 days later it was clogged up again, and it was the day before turkey day, so I called Mr Rooter to come jet it out . Kid was awesome, super friendly , hard worker. I tipped him some extra cash for his extra effort. Inspection camera confirmed my fears . I have some jackhammering in my future . They wanted 8k to dig up and replace 20 feet of pipe. Im on it
Poor guy, was working over time on Thanksgiving day in a warehouse in PIttsburgh , and when he came out to get some tools, found his truck engulfed in flames .My check was in there .
Poor guy. said he lost his wallet and all of his personal tools . Working on a Holiday to make the extra coin, and he probably ended up in the negative column for the day . I hope his company reiumburses him somehow . He said their water jetter machine holds 5 gallons of fuel and he said he had an extra 5 gallon can full of fuel so once it went off, there was no stopping it !
