Funny, my parents bought me one of those starter sets for X mas when I was 18. Turned out to be a better gift than trying to push me through college .
I still have a bunch of them, and tons of mixmatched f craftsman tools from over the years . I can def tell which ones were made in the usa , and when they switched over .
I have some older craftsman boxes also . Im not sure if you can tell, but I love tools
