What I find hilarious is how a person can follow stats to buy what is 90% of the time an emotional purchase. I guess following the 911 market for nearly 45 years. Importing over 70 911's during the 80's grey market and helping nearly 1000 new 911 owners buy the right car over the past ten years is not worth anything anymore. I helped import a number of 964's since 2022. Each one has standing offers for significantly more than market value. I have another friend who is making a tidy profit selling 911's on BaT he has recently imported.
There must be a thousand threads on Rennlist regarding this. I find that maybe 33% of all buyers are on the forums it used to be closer to 55% but nobody bothers these days. I have been hearing about this bubble since 2022 yet the values kept going up. The market slowed when we waited to see the results of the election which was to be expected but what I see selling are heading back in an upward direction. The only people who keep screaming bubble are those looking for a deal that doesn't exist and they are still waiting till this day, or have bought a lesser model or another marque since they can't afford what they want. All along could have spent another $5k or so and had exactly what they wanted and is worth multiples today. But chose to use market valuations to buy and missed out. So they IMO and anyone who wants to believe there is one huge market bubble are living in one.
I can assure you that like Bruce Anderson back in Excellence days these valuations are BS and if you think that have any merit try buying a car in the condition they claim for that little. Most of the time a #4 is their #2 or #1 pricing and I would buy more if they were available at the prices they claim. This is old news and hasn't changed as I see it.
