I got invited to go skiing over the weekend with one of my favorite friends and his young son, (couldn’t go), one of the reasons that he was free is because his wife flew up the Vancouver to take the young daughter to the TS show. Last one of the 2 year tour, if not mistaken?
Anyhow, he paid $4800 for the tickets and that of course doesn’t include plane tickets and hotel, etc. They don’t fly coach or stay at Holiday Inn, fwiw. If you knew his wife, it would be worth $8k or whatever to get rid of her for a weekend but that’s another story.
As for what she does for the economy of the places that she plays, it’s insane. I think about…if you’re a parent, you’re generally thrilled if your kids turn out happy and healthy. Imagine being TS’s parents…I can’t.
