Nice collection of VF750's Baz, I've still got just one, 83 model that's bone stock including a replacement factory exhaust my brother bought for it after the original rusted out.
They have a very unique sound and are very smooth with the V4 motor.
My son's 71 Triumph mismatch came home from Oregon looking like this
It was originally a Trophy model that had been rebuilt into about 3 colors of red, a horrendous rear fender and oddly painted front fender.
After getting it running in its mis-matched state I asked my son what he imagined as a finished bike.
Black on black and a more Bonneville-ish design is what was settled on
I'm pleased with it, he decided to leave it here rather than taking it down to LA where he's living with me as a care taker.
The difference between the V45 and this old Brit bike are night and day- left side shift vs right, kick start vs electric, disc vs drum etc... however, The Triumph is more comfortable, loud and gets more thumbs up out on the road.
