As if I don't have enough projects going (bikes, cars, house, etc.) I decided it was time to build out my Tom Kellogg frame. I've had it for several years. I was finally able to make contact with Tom and, luckily, he has extensive records on his frames. Reynolds 531SL tube set, Hayden investment cast crown, RGF bulge-forged BB shell, Campagnolo 1010A dropouts, and Prugnat long point lugs. The paint is Bellamy Red. This was frame No. 27 and built in 1977.
The frame is in well-used condition but is straight with original paint and decals. I've pretty much removed a couple of nasty handlebar dents on the top tube. So my plan is to build it with components in similar well-used condition to the frame so it looks like the survivor that it is. Probably going to try to find a complete 1977ish bike and transfer the parts as opposed to trying to find everything individually. Campy, Suntour, Dura-Ace? Not sure.
