Buy a Litespeed Vortex with a DuraAce 10-speed groupo What you give up on the "brand" factor you will save in bucks. Put a set of Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL wheels on it. You will have a better equiped bike for about 5k. Just as light as the Colnago.
Or do what I did. Spend 2k + a little, on a 17 1/2 pound Cannondale with Dura-Ace and smile as you pass the rider on his 7K bike. Works for me.......
