Rebuilt units are $500/pair each end Tim so a lot more than springs. The combination of sport mode (and normal and soft modes), raising up the truck to drive over any median or parking lot divider without care and leveling a trailer more than makes up for the cost IMHO. Honestly, the sport mode alone easily justifies the cost. I would expect to replace mine by 200K miles. Compressors go too but again those are cheap rebuilt or aftermarket.
I am constantly amazed at how inexpensive part are for the truck.
