My Wife started out using powdered Tide and switched to liquid Wisk. After a couple of years, the washing machine stunk to high heaven until I disassembled it down to the drum and found the drum coated with gray stinky slime. Washed it out and went back to powdered Tide and have not had any problems like this since.
