Question for the group.

**I thought there was a thread out there that covered this topic, but I couldn't find it in a search for some reason. If I missed the link, please let me know! **

I bought what were supposed to be OEM 964 front LCA's. When they showed up they had a 993 part numbers. I was under the impression that 993 were not directly interchangeable with 964 because of a ball joint mounting stud, or something. What were the differences?

I'm trying to find out if there was a mistake with the seller and if what I have will indeed work. They are completely stripped to the casting and refinished and will need studs, bushings, everything, so if it's something minor and the geometry is the same, I will work with them.
