If I had the cash and the desire to own a 917 (I don't) I wouldn't buy this one. There would be three on my list. The very original 917K previously owned by Chuck Stoddard, one with a significant race history, or one of the longtails driven by Vic.
This one will likely be more expensive than those and I couldn't give even half a **** if either McQueen or Seinfeld one owned it.
