You remove the swingam and rear shock and linkage. This bolts to where the rear swing arm bolts and then there is an adjustable strut that connects where the shock mounts to the frame. This is what you use to set the angle of attack of the track and more importantly the weight on the front ski.

The chain connects to the factory sprocket and then there is a second chain that connects to the track drive. It seems like about a 2:1 reduction. I’m in 4th, 5th, and 6th gear a lot. It could use a bigger front sprocket.

Surprisingly yes. My buddy has this same setup on his 2014 Beta 250 2T. I think the new KTM (GasGas) throttle body injection and the bottom end torque are what make it work so well.

I’m praying for snow.
