I’ve been upgrading my street legal LSV (Low Speed Vehicle - Glorified Golf Cart Capable of 30 MPH)
I’ve been doing some dash work and have run into a roadblock. After installing a more secure locking glove box the hood release cable is now about 6 inches too short.
I could simply replace the Bowden cable with one that is six inches longer but that would require the disassembly of the front end of the cart to access the latch mechanism. I would rather not do that.
Does anyone know of an extension that connects to the existing Bowden crossbar stop sleeve and extends the cable six inches. I really don’t want to cut the existing cable. I was hoping there would be a clamp like device to secure the end of the cable and add 6 inches. See photos . . .
I’ve added a Bluetooth radio, usb port, outside temp gauge, speedometer, and voltmeter.
