Interesting. That would make Google returns less complete and comprehensive than they could be, and more a measure of revenue than content. I wonder if there is a search engine that is more complete and comprehensive. Google “cultivates” their results, which is just a fancy way of saying that businesses can pay Google to be the top response to a given search. Results are also manipulated based on social or political pressures such that certain information be suppressed or promoted depending on who’s pulling the strings. I have Duck Duck Go as my search engine, it doesn’t do any of that stuff.
