Well, drat!!! The endcap of the "quick disconnect assembly" is still popped up a little, allowing water to still pass through and leak. I need to find a clamp with a smaller surface area so that I can put epoxy around the inside edges of the end cap on the part. So... I plugged the hose for now and put the machine back together so that it can still be used as a carpet shampooer. I consider it a small victory as I didn't have any leftover parts and got all the different sized screws in their correct locations!!! [emoji28]

Had to include the picture of Pai peeking into the laundry room to see what I was doing. [emoji23]
