just did new years in vegas so i thought i would chime in..
for the money, i think that the suites at the venetian are pretty pimpy. if you want to party you:ll end up at palms anyways (ghost bar over rain btw). also, don:t forget drai:s afterhours at the barbary coast. doesn:t start till three, doesn:t end until mid afternoon. ice, just off the strip, can be entertaining as well with two large rooms and dry ice cannons that shoot at the dancefloor periodically (only in vegas). light bellagio on sundays is pretty good as well.
