I see that you have body color even on the parts inside the car. Mine was tangerine in many places where it shouldn't have been. Sometimes hard to remove.

Tomas,
3rd 1969 restoration - I'm sure you are a font of knowledge - glad to have your input. It seems like I've got a lifetime of work ahead of me, hard to image going through this process again at this point, but I thought I was done with major car projects last time I moved and sold my bigger tools.
In regards to the color on the interior where it shouldn't have been, I know mine has been resprayed once, but I assumed most of the interior color was from the factory, especially places like the dash. Do you mean the factory wasn't following their own guidelines or that it is from the respray?
Is there a good reference for paint and coatings that is specific about what color / coating each area should have? The factory repair manual is pretty vague, of course. I'm a long way form final paint, but I don't plan on doing that myself and I know the good shops are booked months/years out, so I'm trying to start wrapping my head around that part of the process.
Thanks!
