[Missed Approach]

Hi cantdrv55- I do have a suggestion... Noodling. Speaking from personal experience, there is no boredom whatsoever. Travel to a Noodling-friendly State would be required. (Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.) While I do fish with a rod & reel, Noodling is a truly exciting event, and I suspect it would be a real bonding experience with your BIL. I convinced my neighbor to go with me to Lawton, OK several years ago, where we wrestled 8 fish total, and we now have an unbroken bond of comradeship.
