Busy two weeks during the holiday break. Took care of a few maintenance items.
  • Annual paint chip touch-up. Crazy how much better it looks 😅
  • New hood struts
  • Removed and refurbished fresh air ventilation system including replacing electric fan and all seals.
  • Removed old non-functional windshield washer system including all hoses, fittings, devoir, pump and washer nozzles. Replaced ALL parts with new.
  • Inspected, cleaned, lubricated and tested windshield wiper system. Already worked fine and works a bit more smoothly now.
  • Replaced fuel tank sending unit for fuel gauge. We will see if this improved accuracy or if the gauge needs rebuilding.
  • Replaced door open/closed switches including all fittings and seals. Still need to disassemble the targa bar interior trim to inspect and address the wiring. My hope is to get the dome light to come on when the door are open like it should 😂

That’s it for now. A bunch of little items which I’ve been meaning to get to for a while but are not worth paying shop rates to address. You don’t see them, but it’s nice to have them work when you need them.
