You won't get lucky trying to land on Z1 by luck with the starter. Not gonna happen.
You can use the pulley tool, or I use a socket on the pulley nut. It helps if you have the plugs out. You got 3 so thats a start. But you put a bit of pressure on the slack side of the fan belt at the same time you turn the pulley.
