If you went to narrower dedicated snows you would see your Cayenne being superior your other vehicles in the snow. I have 265/19s with snow-approved Vredstein Quatracs on my truck and it goes through any amount of snow with confidence. In fact you can't hoon around with them they grip so well. We got some snow recently, major highways not plowed, 65 was stable and confident.
Ice is a different matter. Nothing but spikes works on ice.

Yes...but I don't see enough snow to justify dedicated winter wheels/tires here. I did when I lived in Colorado (lived on a corner lot and had to have a very long sidewalk shoveled clear within 24 hours of the snow ending).
Today is an exception here. We have 8-10 inches already and it is coming down fast.
