Nobody is willing to move.

Look, I don’t want to pick on you because I know that you’re not very bright but maybe refrain from commenting on things or places that you are not familiar with. I’m going to say with 100% certainty that you don’t know where this occurred without consulting a map or what people are like in that place.
Sunset Boulevard is the one and only major road at the bottom of miles and miles of hillside with homes on it. It is gridlocked on any given weekday afternoon between the Palisades and the 405. Now imagine everyone who lives north of Sunset in Brentwood and every single person in the Palisades trying to go east on Sunset at the same time…it was a parking lot with no way to park on the side of the road. I’m sure that cars were occupying every inch of the pavement. People climbed out of their cars and ran for their lives as the massive fire encroached.
Are there entitled asses living on the Westside of LA? Is a bear Catholic? Does the Pope schit in the woods? Of course there are but there are plenty of kind and generous people as well, which you would know if you lived here. There will emerge some stories of heroism and selflessness when this is over, I’m sure. Disasters bring out the best in people. Sometimes the worst as well. I would avoid sweeping generalizations about things that you clearly know nothing about.
