Several fires have happened in the surrounding areas. Some have been quite close to Mulholland like the one in Studio City near Coldwater Canyon and the one in Runyon Canyon below Mulholland to the south. God bless our Firefighters, they do a fantastic job protecting us. Still, thousands of acres and homes have been lost due to the crazy winds we experienced.
I took this photo from home yesterday morning of the Eaton Canyon Fire in Altadena/Pasadena area. (looking east)
An hour later it had grown in size to this scene.
Later in the day heavy black smoke blanketed the entire eastern horizon.
