Many years ago one of my machinist's was having trouble converting grams to ounces while balancing a turbine. He was a pretty rough character so I asked how many grams in an ounce. He said he didn't know. I asked how many grams in a 1/4 ounce. He looked at me like why did I ask it like that, then he smiled and said, oh 7 grams.
