Does anyone have a DIY for replacing the evap purge valve? The part is $500 and it looks to include the hose that goes all the way to to fuel tank(?) from under the driver's intake manifold.
My current plan is to take off the manifold and inspect for damage to the valve/wiring/hose first. Can I apply 12v to the valve to test?
Any other help with solving this code would be greatly appreciated!  |
While P0444 could be the valve itself, more often it is an electrical issue, hence the "open circuit" descriptor.
First step is to test to see if the valve is getting voltage, so I would start there.
