I made this old grandfather clock into a shelf. It was a gutted broken piece of garbage when I picked it up. It was at a funiture consignment shop sitting outside the dumpster. I took the box off the top where the clock was and moved the mustache trim down to where it is now. Put Shelves in and got it all solid again. I also cut a mirror for the back of the top shelf. I was going to give it right back to the consignment shop but my mom claimed it. Wish I got better before and after pics because it really came out nice. Also had to make a little stool for it to sit on so it sits above the baseboard heater and against the wall. It took her about 10 minutes to make it look like it was there for 30 years
