In the case of a 3.6 transplant, yes, the Sheridan f/g surrounds allow the 993 engine to sit the same as any other 911 engine, the 964/993 parts force the rear of the engine down ~1.25"
3.6 tin surrounds, even when modified for use in a 922 are quite tall
