My wife likes to subscribe to streaming services.
That goes against my very core, but in the big picture
it amounts to not much more than the change found
under the sofa cushions and it makes her happy.
Happy wife happy life.
But no friggin disney, I draw the line there!!!
I do watch the services from time to time though.
Might as well get my money's worth.
A few observations:
Paramount: not used much.
Not worth the price of admission but still has "some" value.
Peacock network: subscription is pretty much worthless.
Amazon: good for Thursday NFL football, top gear, and F1 channel.
Not much else.
Netflix: the clear winner. So much more (better) content.
Ratio of me watching netflix vs all the other streaming services
has got to be 10 to 1 now that they've toned down the stupid woke stuff.
I will pay more for Netflix and not complain, if money were an issue Id
just cancel some of the other services.
IOW, Netflix has earned the pay increase.
In the end there will be netflix and "maybe" amazon if Bezos
wants to keep throwing money at it.
The big losers will be the cable providers.
No sympathy for them or their mafia handlers.
