first time ordering from the Buck Custom Shop. I just received a custom 501 with buffalo horn and magna cut steel. i’m blown away. i have some really high end knives and this is an instant favorite. probably the first knife i have ever received that is truly 100% perfect and flawless. perfect size in pocket too. I have standard run Bucks and none of them were perfect…blade play, proud tip, off center blade…all needing some work by me. not this one.
I also ordered a custom 110 with elk stag and magna cut steel and finger grooves. I ordered that one a week or so before the 501 so I am hoping any week now it will come. but this 501 is never leaving my pocket.
