Here’s my GEC calf roper medium stockmans. Both have seen action :-). Unfortunately the ebony one on the left had a weak spring out of the box. Should have sent it back. The sheep’s foot has very little snap. The jigged bone one I like much better (I love jig bone and a long nail nick) and just noticed rust so I’m glad I looked at it…..1095 steel can be a PIA even when keeping them oiled and I save all desiccant packs that come in stuff in the mail and toss em in my knife-only tool box
