Some factory batteries are AGM - for example most if not all Mercedes-Benz models over the last 15 or so. (Fyi, I just replaced the OEM starter battery in my MB a few weeks ago and the original was a Varta brand AGM.)

Many hybrids & EV's use lithium. Lithium batteries are also a factory option for the track-focused Porsche models (GT3, GT2, etc.) and original equipment in the McLaren MP4-12C.

An on-line search on your car's brand and model should tell you which battery your car came equipped with.
