Many hybrids & EV's use lithium. Lithium batteries are also a factory option for the track-focused Porsche models (GT3, GT2, etc.) and original equipment in the McLaren MP4-12C.
An on-line search on your car's brand and model should tell you which battery your car came equipped with.

I’m yet to see a factory AGM but I’m sure they exist. In the last couple of years I’ve replaced batteries in a 2010, 2013, and 2014 Mercedes, 2021 Jeep, and 2020 Ram, all lead acid. Lithium is still incredibly rare in normal cars, and I made the assumption that he wasn’t replacing the battery (singular) in an EV. So I may have made some reasonable assumptions.
986 is 100% a lead acid, I’ve replaced a lot of those.
