Tip of my hat to the mighty Altima for taking a blow from a concrete truck like that, and not compromising the passenger compartment .
So glad to hear I am not responsible for this . It was really weighing heavy on my mind for a few hours before I found out all the details .
I sometimes forget how important my job is . Its often just another car, another brake job, another muffler, another clutch etc, but I have someones safety, or life in my hands every day . Something as simple as forgetting to tighten a lug nut, or not making sure a hood is latched could end up a disaster .
Should I text him and let him know that this voids the warranty on the convertor ??

That is a scary photo Fred! I am very happy the kid was able to walk away with relatively minor injuries. He was very fortunate.
It also says something about you, in a very good way. You actually CARE about the kid and his father. Our world could use a little bit of love right now and you are part of the solution, brother. Sending a hug your way, David
